I don’t know how it is with most kids, since we only have the one so far, but Sweet Pea’s teeth seem to grow in painfully slow and one at a time. About three weeks ago we noticed his gums were swelling in one particular spot and just today the tooth has started to make an appearance. See below (click the picture to make it larger):
So for weeks we have endured more grumpiness and more slobber than usual, all for just one tooth! I will be glad when all this is over, and at this rate that could be years from now.
