This afternoon Sweet Pea and I ventured to the laundromat to get some much needed laundry done. You see, laundry has got to be my least favorite chore. I have gotten into the habit of letting it pile up before even thinking about doing it and then at that point there is so much of it it’s overwhelming. And because it is overwhelming that makes it even harder to do at home. And on top of that, our dryer hook-up has something wrong with it that makes it take two complete cycles before anything is dry. Laundry = no fun.
But I have to say, getting it all done in about two hours in nice. With the help of Nana, Sweet Pea stayed entertained while I scurried from washer to washer dumping in soap and quarters.And now for the first time in a long time, every article of clothing we own is clean. Well…at least for now.
