We made our last day in London a leisurely one. Erin and I spent the entire afternoon at Harrod’s enjoying afternoon tea. What an experience! If you are ever in London this is something that must be done. We enjoyed tea, champagne, little sandwiches, and scones on the upstairs terrace of Harrod’s. It was also a good way to just talk and take time to say goodbye to one another.

After Harrod’s we headed to the theatre district hoping to catch a show. We didn’t have tickets beforehand having just planned to go to the box office right before the show started. We tried three different shows before we came to one that hadn’t sold out. Chicago! I was actually very excited because this was a show that I hadn’t seen before on stage. It was an entertaining show and a good way to end a trip. The show was not sold out so we put the stuffed animals that we got for Sweet Pea from Harrod’s on the seat next to us so they could watch the show too!

After the show we dcided to hitch a ride from the theatre to the tube station on a bike caboose. It was so much fun! The guy pulling us gave us a good ride by swerving and going as fast as he could.

Overall the London trip was awesome! It makes me want to live in a place that has great public transportation and is full of history. I would love to be able to live somewhere where Sweet Pea and I could just step out the door and head somewhere inspiring. Maybe one day…

Hi, looks like you had a good time, all and all. I got your postcard today, :-)
I agree, it would be fun to live somewhere with good public transportation. Charles, loved reading about you and Hunter’s “manly man” time together.

thanks Pam! I am glad you got the post card!
